BRISTOL'S EXPERTS IN PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT

OUR JOB IS CHILD'S PLAY

At Monkey Business Design, we provide an innovative take on children's playground equipment. Using responsibly sourced materials and a passion for making play fun and accessible, we create fantastic spaces that children of all ages will simply love.

Each project is unique, handcrafted, and tailored to the needs of the clients and communities we work with. The timber we use comes from responsibly managed UK forests, ensuring children can play with minimal impact on the environment. Alongside our play areas, we also support biodiversity via The Habitat Project.

REDCLIFFE CHILDREN'S CENTRE

We built two tree platforms joined by a rope bridge featuring a climbing wall, spiral slide, caterpillar track access, blackboards, a 'shop counter' and other features. Also, an artificial grass mound over a run-through tunnel. Plus, swings, a log seesaw, living walls, a play hut and safety surfacing.

ST PETER & PAULS RC PRIMARY REDLAND

"We all really love everything that you have built for our school. The tree platform is the children's favourite, but the wheelchair-accessible stage is beautifully done too and the hanging baskets on the pergola brighten up the whole space. A big thank you to you all."

CHANDAG JUNIOR SCHOOL, KEYNSHAM

For the forest school, we built an all-weather folding canopy, a tree platform and other log structures.

PLAYHOUSE SHOWPIECE FOR THE FAMILY ATTRACTION SHOW AT THE NEC, 2019

We can create any themed timber structures for your school or park, including tree houses.

BIRDWELL PRIMARY, LONG ASHTON

The school's Friends Group asked us to create some round shelters, each distinct in function and form. For stage one we have built a 'buddy hut' and a 'shop', both with coloured acrylic panels that create a lovely effect when the sun shines through.
