All of our projects are bespoke to our customers needs. However, we follow the process outlined below to make sure your finished project is on time, on budget and just what you wanted.
We will make a first no obligation visit to meet you on site, to discuss your needs, ideas and budget.
We will also take photos and measurements and collect site information including underground services, access, noise and work restrictions etc.
If the larger school /office community is invited to be involved in the design process then we will be delighted to help facilitate this.
We will also agree a design fee where applicable*, based upon the size and complication of the works and the detail required.
*Where we are responding to tender a design fee may be waived.
We present one or more design ideas and descriptions with approximate costs. We may use hand drawn and CAD illustrations as well as photos, mood boards, Pinterest, Houzz, etc, and product samples.
Customer feedback - Tell us what you think and we will go away and make the necessary changes for your approval.
When funding is available and we are commissioned, we can finalise the design working drawings, detailing costs and project administration, timings, maintenance and H&S issues and book in the work.
We will use our own team of skilled landscapers and carpenters, supplemented as necessary by vetted contractors and always under our supervision. We will do our best to minimise disruption to your working day and we are always on hand to discuss any matters arising.
Our work in public spaces and educational establishments complies with BS EN 1176 and BS EN 1177, the European Safety Standards for playground equipment and impact absorbing playground surfacing. On larger projects we may also contract an independent play inspector to sign off our work.
We can supply an inspection and maintenance schedule for your own use and an annual maintenance service.
If so, we are happy to quote for the construction of a design that you the client supply.
